On Saturday 30 November 2019 and Sunday 01 December 2019, 24 Rotarians assisted by Inner Wheelers, Anns and two potential members manned 4 stations at 4 supermarkets in the Gaborone area.
They collected donations of non-perishable foodstuffs from the various shoppers.
All the foodstuffs received filled a 7 ton truck.
Phase 2 will take place in January 2020 when the proceeds are distributed to the selected recipients.
We would like to say a big THANK YOU to all the shoppers who assisted by so generously donating. When we distribute we make a point of advising the recipients that all the foodstuffs that they receive has been donated by the Gaborone public.
