On 24 May 2024 Dr Weludo Ngwisanyia-David addressed the club after completing a 5 year surgery training course at Witwatersrand Medical School in Johannesburg in April 2023. She graduated as a Master of Medicine in Surgery and became a Fellow of the Colleges of Surgeons of South Africa. She became the 4th Motswana female general surgeon in Botswana.

Weludo had enrolled in the surgery course in 2018 and self sponsored her costs for 2018 to 2020. Then she obtained a Global Grant of USD 30 000.00 to complete her studies. The sponsor of grant GG2120990 were the Rotary Club of Gaborone, Rotary Club of Bend, Rotary Club of Ojai, Rotary District 9400, Rotary District 6110, Rotary District 5240 and the Rotary Foundation.
 
Since returning to Botswana Weludo is a general surgeon at Sir Ketumile Masire Teaching Hospital. She also a voluntary adjunct lecturer at the University of Botswana. In addition, she does voluntary work at Princes Marina Hospital, is volunteer surgeon for Journey of Hope and is also a member of the Botswana Surgical Society’s outreach program team.
