Rotary Club of Gaborone
About Our Club
The Rotary Club of Gaborone was chartered on 16 January 1972. It is the oldest and largest of the 4 Rotary Clubs in Botswana as well as being one of the largest clubs in Rotary District 9400, which covers Botswana, Northern South Africa, Swaziland and Southern Mozambique.
The contribution of the Club to the Botswana community has been immense. Since it supplied a Braille typewriter to the Mochudi Resource Centre For The Blind in 1972, the Club has provided many organisations and individuals with books, blankets, groceries, furniture, wheelchairs, computers and communication equipment throughout Centre and Southern Botswana.
